Hidden Hobbies

I'm bored. It's a rainy day, and there's nothing to do.

Oh, right. I should probably start doing this.

Hi, my name is James Tieng. Welcome to my Tabblo! Today, I'll be talking about my hobbies.

I love using the computer, not exactly because of all the video games, but because of the internet. I love surfing the web, just reading articles. I can't explain why, but I do know that that explains my ridiculously high eye grade.

I open my computer to start doing my Tabblo. I have a few pictures ready. I bet I can make them into a Tabblo of some sort.

As soon as I start typing, though, I realize that I must have gotten a bad case of writer's block. I rack my brain over and over again, but I  can't think anything to say.

Right now I'm reading My point is... and I do have one by Ellen DeGeneres and I Am America (And So Can You!) by Stephen Colbert. Yes, I love funny books.

After a few minutes of blankly staring at the computer, I realize that I'm going nowhere with this. I grab a book from my collection, and start reading. Maybe I'll get a few ideas.

My television can have a bit of an ego at times, but i depend on it to watch my favourite shows like The Simpsons and The Colbert Report.

I read happily for a while, then I realize something. It's quiet, too quiet. Thinking that the silence might be stifling my creativity, I turn on the television.

Aside from all the usual fast food chains, I enjoy eating at Oliver's Super Sandwiches. Their sandwiches are so rich and flavorful!

As I watched TV, I figure that something is missing. I grab some food from downstairs.

And, with the noise of the television ringing in my ears and a sandwich in my hand, I resumed reading my book. While reading, I racked my brain again. What are my hobbies? What should I write in my Tabblo?

Then, it hit me. I started snapping pictures with my camera, now selectively, because I knew what I wanted. I quickly logged back on to my computer. Then I started writing.

Thanks to this writer's block, I realized what my real hobbies were.

And that's me. Thanks for reading my Tabblo! (Also, thanks to http://makatibrunchclub.blogspot.com for the picture of the sandwich)
